Another two races for all fleets today, the penultimate day of racing in the 2008 Sopot Windsurfing Festival. Just a bit more wind would have been good, especially after the gluttony of last night's barbecue, but it remained tantalisingly light.
There's a real battle going on between Max Wojcik and Paco Wirz at the top of the Raceboard Europeans scoreboard. Max was trailing by 3 points yesterday, now he is one point ahead again! Petr Kucera is still in third. Paul Leone, Class Chairman, put in an appearance at the front of the fleet today by coming second in both races. No change in the top 6 masters, despite Paul coming in ahead of Paco. However, Alistair Masters has made his way back to the top of the youth fleet and has equal points with Remi Ledoux. Tomorrow sees the final day of racing - pray for wind! | |
