Surfclub Domasa on the East Slovakian Lake Domasa hosted over the weekend the biggest windsurfing regatta in Slovakia in recent years with 48 competitors from 5 countries in Raceboard and BIC techno class.

After the Saturday when RC used window of 2 hours with light south winds to sail 2 solid races, on Sunday, despite all the efforts, we could sail only one race with variable winds. The morning attempt to sail more races with a south wind was interrupted with a big rain storm and the forecast north wind unfortunately kicked in only during the closing ceremony.

That's how Mother Nature planned it for us this weekend. Hopefully more luck with the wind in Lake Balaton, Hungary, on 10th-11th June for stage 2 of this year's Supercup Series.
